Welcome to JacksonWX station news page.
I am still trying to get the temperature sensor working correctly. Sorry for the inconvenience.
As we continue to make great strides
in weather related applications, we are proud to
announce our newest and latest technology to the
website.
Jacksonwx has joined the
WeatherUnderground NOAA Weather Radio Stream servers. We are the only
and first local weather station in the Monmouth and
Ocean counties rebroadcasting the NOAA station
from Howell. Station WXM60 at 300 watts on a frequency
of 162.450. Check it out

WASP This newest technology comes from working with our
lightning detector from Boltek and Software from
Astrogenic. They have combined the two and have added as
a benefit a NextRad Overlay for our regional area. This
latest technology allows you to see where the majority
of storm activity is taking place.
JacksonWx has made a
many new milestones this year and we would like you to know
about them. We have joined the Weather Underground Rapid
Fire for updates, and we are providing
Weather Underground with our weather data, so make
sure you check out the links to see the past years
history. "Very Interesting comparison information" I
have made sure that the Weather Underground counters have
been working correctly. Thank you again for making us the number
one weather site for the Howell, Freehold and always
Jackson Township covering Ocean and Monmouth counties.
Now that we have Joined a Beta
Network Of Boltek Lightning detectors and Astrogenic's
Triangulation software. This proves to be some great new
technology that the big companies have been charging top
dollar for. As we hobbyist all know that most of us
cannot afford to pay that kind of money, but wish we
could. Well I would like to say thanks to Relko
(Astrogenic) and Lori and Rick Jungerburg for their work
with Astrogenic. This now allows Jacksonwx.com to
participate and bring this great technology to you for
Free. We are One of the only stations in the Ocean
Monmouth county area, And the only station serving the
Jersey Shore area Right Now. When you click on the new link you can
read all about this latest compilation of lightning
strike data and how it works. The Strike Star network has
become very popular so check out the newest page from
weather underground where you can see our compiles
lightning strike data:

Checkout the strikestar page directly.
We have now become an officially licensed Amateur
Radio operator.
